The Georgian
Cabin Fever
2013 was brought in a new way this year for me. A few friends and I went to a cabin in north Georgia and spent a few days up there, including new years, and I must admit that it was the best new years I've ever had. Very peaceful and private. There was also a jacuzzi on the deck, which was put to use as much as possible.

Live...a lost love?
never has a live show been duplicated any degree as actually making a connection with the artist directly. This footage of mizBadu simulates me in so many directions....on video. But just imagine the feeling of her singing directly for me...in my some space. what if i skipped work to come see her? what kind of exciement would that stimulate? what if i didnt have the gas money to make it home after? i miss all of these feelings. instead, i get to watch it safely, in the enviroment i choose. but, therin, is why the video brings so much of its own satisfaction...we can watch our greatest performaces as often and as many times as we want. RePeAt...and with that, Im blowed

Thriller
In my never ending search for classic vinyl, I dug this out of some crates at an antique store. I'm still not sure they knew what they had, considering it was only $11!

Mamadees morning
I'm fortunate to be able to spend my mornings with my grandmother. This morning with breakfast, we jammed to the Chambers Brothers. Nice way to wake up, if you ask me...and Mamadee.

Grandparents Day
I was fortunate to be able to share Grandparents day with my uncle Kwabena and his son, Kwesi, along with mom and my grandma. Considering it was late notice, it still turned out nice. We got to observe my cousin in class interacting with his class. Funny, he didn't seem to show out, but instead showed much interest in the slides that were being displayed. Kwesi had a bit of a treat in store when we went out for lunch for an hour or so. What child doesn't long for a break between class? Kwabena showed us around a garden he has been supervising, and Mamadee got to work on her green thumb for a bit. But, the exciting part was the time in the park! Mom pushed Mamadee on the swing, pitting a grand smile on her face, and ours as well. Goes to show that those last minute plans can turn into some great memories.
ENOUGH!
THAT'S IT! I'VE HAD ENOUGH! Of what, you may ask. Well, I will tell you. I'm tired of Facebook. I'm tired of Twitter. I'm tired of ALL of the social networks that I don't even use. It's all become so redundant. Therefore, I'm back to my blog. I'm determined to stay focused this time. With my blog, I plan to focus on what's really important to me. Show more of my family, give more insight into my hobbies, and provide self therapy through writing down my thoughts. So, with that, here...we....go.
