Greater Than This

I have had many colorful conversations about the possibilities of there being other living beings in galaxies far beyond our own. I'm not so closed minded to reject such theories. My belief in God and my pure amazement of everything (which is undoubtedly a very minuscule amount) we know of creation, such as this beautiful earth, all of its numerous creatures, and don't forget us and everything we are made of, that there is no limits to his creation. I mean, really, we live in a universe with no beginning or end, which us unfathomable to my mind. Why wouldn't he create other beings to enjoy other parts of the universe?

I believe we were created to live forever. There is no doubt this planet was here long before we were, and for all the people who have come and gone, it remains as we found it. No matter what we do to it, earth always fixes itself. Our bodies also continue to regenerate. On top of that, we populate.
And then look at the great accomplishments mankind has made in such a short period of time, particularly in space travel. We have been able to travel to places in our galaxy that does not sustain mankind.

So, with those things said, I figure that just maybe, mankind will be able to travel to other planets and populate them. There may be a possibility that the entire galaxy was created for mankind to travel and settle. What an incredible gift that would be...
